TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF OLD STATION CARAVAN PARK MASHAM
The person making the booking is responsible for all members of the party/booking. please ensure you read these conditions and all members are aware of its content. Failure to comply may lead to you being asked to leave.
We, the owners, reserve the right to decline any application for a booking without explanation. We reserve the right to terminate any booking at any time, without refund of any monies if in our opinion, you or your party are deemed to be behaving unreasonably or inappropriately, causing damage to property, causing annoyance to others or making excessive noise after 10.30pm: you will be asked to leave.
No refunds will be given for early departure due to inclement weather.
In the event of any pitch/cabin, booked not being available for any reason whatsoever, the liability of the proprietors shall in no circumstances exceed a refund of any amount already received by them.
All occupiers of the park must comply with the conditions of the site licence, which is available in reception. Maximum stay of 21 days in any one period.
Booking made will be confirmed and secured when payment of £25 deposit has been made. For tent bookings a minimum of 1-night stay to be paid as a deposit. For BBQ Cabins a minimum of 1-night stay to be paid as deposit. Full payment is due 7 days prior to arrival. Bank Holidays are a minimum stay of 3 nights and weekend from May to October 2 nights, or at our discretion.
Any cancellation will require notice of 7 days, prior to arrival date, deposits are non-refundable. Deposits may be transferable in certain circumstances if more than 7 days’ notice is given, but only within the same season. With the BBQ Cabins if they can be re-let at short notice for the same period of your booking then we will refund your monies, otherwise we will not be able to refund your deposit.
Only number of persons stated on the original booking can occupy the accommodation. In the event of the booking changing in size and criteria, please inform us prior to arrival, as we may not be able to accommodate these changes.
Arrivals and Departures / Site Visitors
Upon arrival you must report to reception to check in and be allocated your pitch. Any outstanding balances to be paid on arrival before site access permitted. No arrivals before 1pm, and departures must be by 11am, unless late stay is pre-arranged. BBQ Cabins arrival time is 2.30pm and departure 10.30am to allow for cleaning.
All site visitors must check in at reception, where a charge will be made. All cars to be left in car park near reception. Visitors must vacate the site by 9 pm.
Children are the sole responsibility of parents or guardians, and at all times must be supervised so they are not a nuisance or danger to themselves or others. Children under the age of 10 must be supervised to the toilets and showers at all times. Children must not play in and around the toilet/shower block area.
Dogs are welcome, a maximum of 2 per pitch/cabin. Dogs must be on short leads at all times. Do not allow them to foul on pitches or the tent area. All dog dirt to be cleaned up and disposed of immediately. No dogs to be left unattended on the park. We reserve the right to terminate any booking if pets are not kept under proper control at all times.
Please note we do not have a play area on site there is one within a short walk. We do not permit cycling/scootering/skateboarding anywhere on the site. Ball games are not permitted anywhere on site. No water bombs, water pistols, or paddling pools allowed. We forbid the use of BB guns, drones and powered toys. Sticks, stones and other projectiles must not be thrown at any time.
BBQs and Fires
BBQs are permitted but must be raised off the ground, there are stands available please ask at reception. All BBQs must be extinguished by 10pm. Do not forage in hedges and wooded area, nor restricted access areas for items to burn on BBQs. No fires/fire pits or chimeneas are permitted on the site for safety reasons. Do not take disposable BBQs in tents, awnings or caravans, they pose a high risk of Carbon Monoxide poisoning. Do not tip ash into the hedge bottoms use the bin provided.
Gazebos, Canopies, Festival Shelters, Tent awnings, Day tents, Pup tents, are not permitted without prior booking and this will be at our discretion depending upon the season and how busy it is.
Speed restriction on site is 5mph.
Music and other loud noises are not permitted outside your unit, so as not to disturb other campers, all noise must cease by 11pm and not start before 8.30am.
No Smoking in toilets or BBQ cabins.
Only licence holders are permitted to drive vehicles on the site.
The Old Station Holiday Park and its owners shall not be liable to any person, whatever age, for loss or damage to any property (including motor vehicles) or for any personal injury, however caused, outside the reasonable control of the site owners.
